Ranch 101Basic Trail Rides
The folks at Happy on Hooves welcome you to join us for a horseback ride through the winding trails of our ranch! You don't need any experience to get involved - we are here to show you the ropes.
When you arrive at our ranch, a Trail Guide will introduce you to your horse. You will be given instructions on communicating with your horse through hand, leg, and word signals. Once your group is prepared, you will depart for your trail ride.
The trail is made up of varied terrain that includes hills, open countryside and woods. With assistance from your Trail Guide, you will tackle obstacles like steep hills and streams.
1 hour including 15 minutes of instruction
Groups up to 7- Open to riders up to 350lbs
- Must be 12 years old and up
Extreme Trail Rides
City Life might seem pretty wild from time to time, but all that concrete can't compete with countryside horseback riding. Head out to the ranch for an hour-long fast paced trail ride that takes you through varied terrain: up steep hills, across streams, and through woods.
But first you will get to know your 4 legged friend with a primer on basic riding skills in a small courtyard. Once you have mastered the fundamentals, you're on your way to a blissful horseback break - no asphalt allowed - with a knowledgeable guide to show you the way.
And when you finally make it back to the stables, show your steed your eternal appreciation with the gift of an apple or carrot that you thoughtfully brought along as a treat for a job well done. It's just the right respite when you feel like life has become a zoo - a day in the outdoors, to rejuvinate yourself.

Please keep in mind that you do not have to ride by your expiration date, just be booked by then. Be sure to bring your printed voucher with you to your appointment.
